OACBS Projects/Board
Call Out for Board Nominations
Have you been looking for a way to get more involved with the ACBS/ACT community?
Do you appreciate what OACBS and ACBS have done for you and would like to give back?
Would you like to expand your network of relationships with like-minded, local colleagues?
We are officially putting a call out for nominations to serve on the board of Oregon chapter of the Association for Contextual Behavioral Science.
If you’d like to become more involved consider these officer positions that are open for this year…
- President-elect: 1-year term (then automatically moves on to a 1-year term as President, then a 1-year term as Past-President for a 3-year total commitment)
- Student Representative: 1-year term
A detailed description of each of these positions can be found on the OACBS website here.
If you know of someone who you’d like to nominate for one of the positions, please email me (bthompson@portlandpsychotherapyclinic.com) their contact information and for which position you’d like to nominate them. Self-nominations are not only accepted but are strongly encouraged! Nominations will be accepted through Friday, April 28th.
Non-Profit Status
The OACBS Board submitted paperwork for 503(c)3 non-profit status. If all goes smoothly, OACBS will be granted nonprofit status by June.
